Bernie Sanders Can Shout all He Wants: He is Weak on Gun Control

The CBS moderator, John Dickerson, as Josh Marshall says, seems much more interested in pushing back on HRC"s answers than Bernie's who's gotten away with a lot.

He didnt' answer the question on job losses that could come from a national $15 minimum wage-simply repeating the stats of rising inequality is not responsive to the question.

He had no answer on ISIS other than talking about the Iraq War vote.

On gun control he claims that he and HRC agree. This is false. Yet Dickerson right away tried to put her on the defensive by asking why she's trying to 'tatoo'' Bernie on one vote he made that favored gun manufacturers in 2005.

Why didn't Dickerson say this when Bernie went after her on Iraq?

For one thing, it's not just one vote. Bernie voted against the Brady bill multiple times. He also voted to make it harder for the FBI to track unscrupulous gun dealers in 2007.

Even now his response to the inevitable latest shooting is to declare 'It's time to stop shouting at each other.'

No wonder Andy Parker who lost his daughter at mass shooting at the Virginia newstation considers Bernie terrible on gun control.

Even now the only real gun control measure he supports is background checks. More is needed than that. He's not as strong as she is on gun control and I don't know why Dickerson stated that he is.
