While the establishment thinks he did well on Tuedsay, the base is contemptuous. In a Frank Luntz focus group the respondents said Kaisch is 'Finished-ie, he doesn't belong up there.'
Trump did a deft job in the third debate in calling him out as being on the board of Lehman Brothers.
What was interesting Tuesday night, is he seemed surprisingly ignorant for someone from such a high perch in the banking world.
He seemed stricken at the very idea of letting Bank of America fail. He claimed that to not do so
would be hell for all the small depositors.
Say what you like about Ted Cruz-I'd say I would like him winning the GOP primary just fine-but he had him dead to rights here.
Has Kasich never heard of depositors insurance? Perhaps it's no accident that both he and Jeb-who has also been working for the big banks-were so bothered by even the thought of a BAC not being bailed out.
Both Jeb and Kasich received contemptuous treatment on Rush yesterday.

The next debate is on December 15. A lot of pundits think Jeb helped himself. Maybe, but I'm not sure. He might have some. He seems to have found his message now-running against Hillary Clinton as if he already won the primary.
At least he may have bought himself some time.
Yet I'm not sure about that. Stylistically he did a little better but the base simply hated what he had to say.If so, that could even lead to a further downward pressure on his numbers.
If he actually gains it would have to be at Rubio's expense but everyone seems to agree Rubio did well.
If you look at the RCP averages now Rubio is almost at 12%, Jeb is just at 6%. This is thanks to the previous debate where Rubio owned him and gained at his expense. Prior to that the two were roughly even.
So it will be interesting to see what the polls show. I'll be interested also to see who is at the next debate. Will they finally scrap the undercard debate?
I wouldn't be shocked to see Kasich gone from the main stage at the next debate. I also don't think Fiorina did anything to help herself, though I think she's beyond help.
Rand Paul on the other hand at least gave himself a little time and buzz. He did a good job of calling out Rubio.
