NYPD Commissioner William Bratton Goes There

He says if Congress wants to do something do something about people on the terrorist watchlist getting guns. That worries him much more than the refugees.

"I’d like to go back to one of the earlier comments about Congress. Congress really wants to do something instead of just talking about something. Help us out with that Terrorist Watch List, those thousands of people that can purchase firearms in this country, I’m more worried about them than I am about Syrian refugees, to be quite frank with you. So if Congress really wants to do something to help the American law enforcement community and the American public, well, let’s start getting serious about doing something that they can actually do something about."

Not surprisingly,The GOP loving Chuck Todd had nothing to say about that. He literally didn't react to this at all.

Then he got Leon Panetta and led with his usual obsession-Why is Obama's ISIS strategy failing so badly.

What Panetta came up with wasn't so impressive. Supposedly back in 2011 Obama should have insisted on staying in Iraq-against the government's will.

He should have armed the Syrian rebels. He should bring together a coalition to fight ISIS and should practice American leadership. .

As April Ryan rightly asked him how do you bring Russia, Iran, and the US together? As for arming the rebels, if you take out Assad doesn't this make it easier for ISIS to take Syria?

Tom Brokaw seems to think that Obama's strategy might be ok but it's not quick enough. That is another fallacy. In reality what's needed is what Fareed Zakaria calls strategic patience. .
