The Racism of Megyn Kelly

In the last post we covered the sexism of Erick Erickson which was appropriate as Jeb Bush claims that Erickson is a champion of women because he dis-invited Trump from his Red State jam session.

In that vein let's also look at Megyn Kelly. We saw just how many terrible things Erickson has said over the years about women. If you for some reason are fixated on Trump insulting women over their physical appearance, consider that Erickson has spoken of 'feminazis too ugly to get a man' as Rush Limbaugh has done so many times.

However, Erickson does draw the line at one woman: you are not allowed to insult Ms. Kelly. There's something special about here. The laws of political correctness apply only to her.

And looking at her history, she is pretty special in one respect: she has said many things that are especially racist. For one thing she claims that Santa Claus is white-'Because he just is.'

She may have had a problem with what Trump has said about some women he's feuded with-although Erickson actually loved when he insulted Rosie O'Donnell. She had no problem with what he said about Mexicans.

"On the June 25 edition of The Kelly File, Kelly hosted GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump and allowed him to defend himself against criticism for his anti-immigrant, anti-Mexican rhetoric. Kelly did not push back on Trump's assertions that Mexican immigrants are "killers."

"During the summer of 2013, Kelly repeatedly tried to scandalize an investigation about a New Black Panther Party member who stood outside a polling station on Election Day 2012, allegedly intimidating voters. Kelly claimed that her sources would shed light on the Obama administration's "decision to not pursue serious charges against members of the New Black Panther Party" and that "politics and race" were potentially to blame."

"Megyn Kelly criticized First Lady Michelle Obama's commencement speech at the historically black Tuskegee University, arguing her recollection of racial discrimination played into a "culture of victimization." Kelly added that discussing racial discrimination is the norm in "Cupcake Nation, that's what we're turning into."

What's more Kelly herself has used the 'it must be her time of the month' argument or something like that:

"On the July 13, 2009 edition of Fox News' America's Newsroom, Kelly asked if Sotomayor's "infamous temper" would flare up during her confirmation hearing. Kelly also suggested that Sotomayor's work with the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund could "pose a roadblock" in her confirmation."

The way the GOP is closing ranks on Trump, you'd think that simply getting rid of him will clean the rot outside the part. To the contrary. Trump is actually doing some good work by highlighting this.
