In my last post I noted that it's just politics as Jeb also had a server and refuses to release any emails and yet Congress isn't trying to subpoena him.

On emailgate, there is just a lot of disinformation. For instance she hasn't committed any crime and the FBI is not investigating her. Nor is the investigation due to her use of a server, though you'd never guess it to hear the media tell it.
Yet this has nothing to do with it:
"Emails Originated In State Dept. System And Questions About Retroactive Classification Would Have Occurred Regardless Of Clinton's Server Use."
"Emails Originated With State Department Employees And Were Forwarded To Clinton. The State Department's statement on the retroactive "top secret" designation made clear that the emails at issue originated with State Department employees, not Clinton herself:"

So all this hand-wringing over 'She has a server! A server!' is a red herring. Jamelle Bouie falls into a common fallacy when he claims that this is all due to her use of a private email-if only she'd used a government email. After all, he admits that his fellow media members have it in for her:
"The press distrusts Clinton and holds her to a different standard than other politicians, while Republicans just despise her. Given that, she should have used her official email account, as a way to prepare for the worst and avoid undue scrutiny. Put differently, the choice to use a private email account was an obvious blunder with consequences that have marred her campaign, even if they don’t ever end it."

But actually no-this is not about using a private email either.
"Would this issue not have arisen if she used a state.gov email address?"
"Even if Clinton's emails had been on a government email address and government device, these questions would be raised prior to public release."
"While State Department's review of her 55,000 emails brought the issue to the Inspectors Generals' attentions, the four emails were on the unclassified .gov email system. They were not on the separate, closed system used by State Department for handling classified communications. [hillaryclinton.com, "Updated: The Facts About Hillary Clinton's Emails," accessed 8/12/15]"
There's also no comparison between her and David Petraeus.
"Experts Have Debunked The Comparison -- Petraeus Knowingly Mishandled Classified Documents, Whereas Clinton Had Authorization To Use Private Email, And There's No Evidence She Knowingly Emailed Classified Information"

There is also a bureaucratic turf war with the emails:
"Vox pointed out how the intra-agency disagreement over whether the emails were appropriately categorized "is a bureaucratic fight about how the State Department has handled the emails, not about Hillary Clinton"
"Just like Benghazi there's no evidence of any wrongdoing. But as the GOP wants to gain political advantage form this and much of the media doesn't like her-a very good reason if this were high school-we keep having our time wasted on this.
