Lindsay Graham has Every Right to Panic

In his own state of South Carolina he's at 4 percent with Trump at 30-Benjamin Carson is at 15 percent. So the top two candidates in SC are Trump and Carson who have no experience in politics and are as anti-GOP establishment as you get and they have 45 percent between them.

1. This is why the Lawrence O'Donnell position looks more and more wrong. Last week O'Donnell was telling us that Trump had peaked at 25 percent and could get no hire. Now he's over 30 percent. If Carson leaves are those voters going to Jeb or going to Trump? That is enough to win the primary with by itself.

2. Graham should be panicking. Trump is plus 30 on favorability in the state while in his own state Graham is negative 15. It's hard to just laugh that off.

3. Trump is leading in every category. The Lawrence O'Donnells and the David Brookes can complain he has no specifics on issues yet Trump leads on every issue. He's over 40 percent on the ecconomy with Jeb and all the ohter candidates under 10 percent.

"Sen. Lindsey Graham says Donald Trump is a "complete idiot" and if the two face off in the Republican primary in Graham's home state of South Carolina, "I'll beat his brains out."

"Graham, the South Carolina senator, attacked Trump in a Tuesday morning interview on CNN.

"Trump had taunted Graham earlier in the day, highlighting a poll of South Carolina GOP primary voters that showed the real estate mogul leading the pack with 30% support and Graham much further back at 4%."

"Congrats," Trump sarcastically tweeted at Graham, noting that those four percentage points are "far better than zero nationally."

"Graham chalked Trump's lead up to a "dark side of politics that Mr. Trump is appealing to." He said Trump is channeling the same Republican primary voters who believe President Barack Obama is a Muslim and was born in Kenya."

Ok, but this is 1/3 of your party going to the dark side. So 1//3 and counting Republican voters apparently believe this. Then it really gets fun.

"Come to South Carolina and I'll beat his brains out," Graham said. "I know my state. This is a silly season in politics."

Oh, it's silly alright. Pass the popcorn and let me go get some ice for my soda as I watch this, Who needs Jerry Springer with the 2016 GOP primary?

"Republican presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) said during an interview with CNN on Tuesday that if real estate mogul Donald Trump wins the party's nomination, it will be the end of the GOP."

"If Donald Trump is the nominee, that’s the end of the Republican Party," Graham said.

"Graham was defending his dismal numbers in his home state of South Carolina, where the latest poll showed him earning 4 percent of likely Republican primary voters to Trump's 30 percent."

"Graham continued his attack, criticizing Trump's lack of military and foreign policy experience."

"He's shallow. He’s ill-prepared to be commander in chief," the retired Air Force colonel told CNN. "He's a complete idiot when it comes to Mideast policy."

"Graham said "common sense" will win out, but until then, "Our soldiers deserve better."

"Graham said that Trump's views on immigrants and women do not reflect the modern Republican party."

Uh, not quite. Trump's views do represent the views of the modern Republican party and that's the problem. He amplifies the party rather than drags it to the Right-it was already at the Far Right,
