There are a lot of ironies that the GOP and their media flaks have made this such an issue. I mean I thought the GOP thought the private sector is superior to the government on everything. Reagan had said government is not the solution it's the problem.

And yet now we're hearing that it's a terrible thing that Hillary used private emails because they are less secure and we can't read her emails. Of course they don't care about reading any other government officials emails like Susan Rice and Colin Powell who also used private emails-as did Jeb, Scott Walker, and Bobby Jindal among many other government officials both in the State department and elsewhere.
So it turns out that Reagan meant government is the problem except for cyber security. I guess the reason he didn't mention this is this was prior to the rise of the Internet.
It's ironic that both Powell and Rice provided much less cooperation in providing their private emails and yet have been left alone.

And what's really ironic is that had she not used private email there would actually be far fewer email records for the GOP and the media flaks to poke their noses in.
"In March 2015, the Government Accounting Office found that the State Department's archiving system was seriously flawed and that only a small percentage of e-mails were actually saved during the period in question."
"But Clinton campaign officials have said that if not for her private email system, many of the messages she sent during that period might not have been saved if she had used a state.gov account."
"That's one of the ironies here," a campaign official said Saturday. "If not for the records now available from her personal accounts, many of the e-mails she sent during that period would not have been archived."

So the government email archiving system at the State Department wasn't even working right. So her use of private emails actually gives us more information. And yet the GOP is not impressed with the superiority of private enterprise in this case.
I wonder why that is.
