It really has become a recurring phenomenon. It seems that he is not trusted by the African-American community.
"women from BLM started demanding the opportunity to speak. The man in charge tried to reason with them to wait their turn, but they became verbally abusive, so he gave them the mic. Bernie and his wife stepped to the side while one woman spoke. When the man in charge tried to get the mic back, she insisted that everyone stop for a moment of silence in memory of Michael Brown, which she explained meant 4 1/2 minutes, to represent the 4 1/2 hours Michael Brown's body lay in the street. Initially, the crowd protested, but eventually did as she requested. After that, she demanded that Bernie come over to her, speaking to him as if speaking to a dog. He stayed where he was. Then a woman who I think was part of the program began to explain that the program was about Social Security and Medicare and tried to make the connection between those programs and PoC. Then the man in charge spoke with Bernie, and Bernie and his wife made their way through the crowd, shaking hands with people along the way. Presented without commentary."

There was also talk about a 'BowDownBernie# hashtag.
"The statement by BLM Seattle is not directly affiliated with the national movement. The national movement is proud of its new hashtag, #BowDownBernie, which I for one unequivocally denounce."

At in the Daily KOS comments I see comments only from Firebaggers. It seems that while KOS is less firebagger than Firedoglake the firebaggers dominate the comments section too. Remember the day I was banned after one day at KOS?

All the commentators seem to care about just one thing: why BLM doesn't focus on Hillary. In their mind if BLM is an authentic political movement it must attack only Hillary. It certainly shouldn't attack Bernie ever. Bernie simply is pure and faultless. There is nothing he has ever said or done that is in any way deserving of criticism.
Here is how they described what happened in the KOS comments section by HappyinNM

What's not considered is that Hillary has a much better record and a lot more credibility with the African American community than Bernie.
UPDATE: I have Weekends With Alex Witt on and there was just footage of when BLM disrupted Bernie. One of the women said 'I was just about to tell Bernie how racist this city is with all its progressives.'
In all seriousness this all does suggest to me there may be a real conflict between the kind of white progressives you get at FDL and KOS and African-American groups like BLM.
It does seem that Bernie has been trying to say the right thing but he doesn't sound entirely comfortable when discussing race and gender issues. For instance in a recent speech to a Latino group last week he prefaced his remarks by saying 'I'm going to get to your issue after.'
As he left the event yesterday after it being shutdown he said that "i was going to get to the question of how blacks have been killed by police'-it's just that for him these issues seem separate and more than his general discussion of economics and class-though he's right about a lot of what he says on economics. Though I must insist he's said little that Hillary hasn't also said.
There is clearly some conflict between FDL America and BLM America
