Once Again: Why There's no Downside to Trump

       I mean Howie is loving Trump and totally shitting on Jeb Bush. Which is great. Trump was shitting Jeb last night.

       And he's right. Jeb Bush has a terrible track record on women. Maybe he never insulted Megan Kelly or Rosie O'Donnell but his record on women's issues is truly awful. It's much worse than his brother's even-and his brother's record was bad.

       To me Carr is important as a bellweather of Tea Party sentiment. In that vein you have to love what he's saying. Then there's Rush Limbaugh. Recently I observed that Rush did make an interesting observation. He noticed that when he read about Trump's comments about Megyn Kelly and the whole dust up over the weekend at the NY Times, Washington Post, et. al-you know the hated liberal media-there was no criticism of Trump.

      The writers would just relate factually what was said and leave it there. There was no criticism of Trump or denouncing him.

       Hmm. That is very interesting. I wonder why that might be? Any theories Rush?  He did add at the time that this wouldn't be the case for any other Repulican. But Rush didn't speculate any further.

      Well yesterday Rish was back at it. Why is the 'drive by media' not attacking Trump?

    Yes, Rush there certainly are all kinds of things at work here. But I'm guessing you're right as usual: the viewers have reined in all these liberals in the newsrooms. That was gonna be my guess too.
