It's been observed that the media doesn't cover Hillary like they do other politicians and there's no question that right now coverage of her has been just incredibly biased and shoddy.

The echo chamber from the Beltway media regarding emails is just astonishing. Literally not one is anything but rabidly anti Hillary in coverage right now.
Yes there is a news story to report. But it's all about emphasis and framing and the media knows perfectly well.
This morning Stephanopolous gave a great example of what I'm talking about. He was interviewing Scott Walker and he had asked him some questions like regarding the idea of birthright citizenship. Walker was a little evasive but Stephanopolous asked some decent questions.
Then at the end he just throws Walker a pure gift: talk about a slow pitch softball right down the middle of the strike zone. He asks Walker about her emails.
Walker got to be all self-righteous about this with no risk to himself as Stephanopolous just gives him a pass.
The obvious follow up would have been to at least point out that Walker too has a private email so how can he be so critical of her using it.

This question came at the end of the short video clip.
But that's not the media's agenda right now. It's a tribal thing. You hear Rush tell us that the media is so liberal but that's not the tribal affiliation at work here. This is that the whole Beltway press is just relentlessly negative about Hillary. Not a single story can even be neutral-it's all about twisting the knife or finding the negative.
Stephanopolous' own history in the Clinton White House notwithstanding he is just as much part of this pack mentality as anyone else. That's the key with the Beltway tribe-this is the only loyalty that is valued. So I guess to even bring any reality check to Walker's pious sermon would identify Stephanoplous as not one of the Beltway tribe.
I maintain her press conference last week was good no matter what the Beltway pundits say.

She was dead on that no normal people care about this except the Beltway press.
P.S. I guess part of it is that the media wants to have something suspenseful to say about the Democratic primary and emailgate is the only thing to really criticize her on which just shows how solid a candidate she really is.
P.S.S. But I truly have nothing but contempt for the Bernie maniacs now that some of them have actually been embracing emailgate and using it to argue that now we have to look at Bernie as the frontrunner now.
It shows two things:
1. How fundamentally perverse their outlook really is
2. How clueless they are if they really think Bernie has a prayer.
