They have a secret plan to make sure tonight's debate doesn't become a joke. Though it seems to me that if you don't want the debate to be a laughingstock, having a 'secret plan' to prevent it is already kind of a joke:
"In an interview with Politico, Fox News hosts Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly, and Chris Wallace revealed they already have a plan if Donald Trump refuses to obey the rules of Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate."
“Listen, he’s going to be treated like everybody else,” Baier said. “We’re going to treat every candidate the same. Everybody is going to know all the rules going in; there is going to be a sound at the end of their time — it won’t be a pleasant sound.”
“Are we thinking about different scenarios? Sure. Our job is to make sure everybody plays by the rules,” he continued.
"But Kelly said they had a plan if Trump refused to stop talking. “We have a plan, but we’re not going to share it with you.”
"Their remarks come a month after Baier said in an interview that he was incredibly nervous about how to deal with Trump during the debates, saying that he had “woken up in cold sweats wondering how I’m going to deal with a Donald Trump who’s not listening."

Cold sweats. See it's already kind of funny.
"The Republicans know that Thursday night’s presidential debate could potentially devolve into the political equivalent of a 1970s disaster film — call it “The Trumpeting Inferno” if you must — and are desperately trying to stage-manage the debate so that it doesn’t turn into something only Democrats can kick back with a bucket of popcorn and enjoy, like Fox News’ most recent focus group.
"In addition to controlling both who can participate and engaging in a rearguard legitimization of the selected candidates, Fox News and the Republican National Committee are collaborating to make sure that one particular candidate doesn’t dominate the debate, either temporally or tonally. Tuesday night, the candidate in question told Bill O’Reilly that he would “hurt anybody” who attacked him.
“If I have to bring up deficiencies,” Trump said, “I’ll bring up deficiencies.” This is precisely the scenario that RNC Chair Reince Priebus hopes to avoid, as he told NBC News Wednesday morning.
“The real issue here is Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the fact that the country’s really not in a good place right now,” he said.

I'm enjoying the Trump Train so much now that I even listened to Rush Limbaugh earlier just to hear what they're saying. Everyone is on board with Trump. Rush's dittoheads I mean.
Rush seems dismissive of the story that supposedly Bill Clinton told Trump to run. He seems to thikn if anything putting this story out now is part of a concerted plan to undermine Trump between the 'drive by media' and the GOP establishment.

The Trump phenomenon just keeps getting better. Now matter how often I think it can't get better it just keeps getting better.
