I wrote about this before but I was just watching Anderson Cooper-who often gets on my nerves-and I have to say more about this. Enough with the faux outrage over Trump insulting women over their appearance.

Listen this is the Republican party. When did the idea that this party remotely respects women? I mean anyone who's really worried about it might talk less about Trump and Rosie and more about Scott Walker opposing abortion even in the case of the life of the mother.
And Jeb Bush is to the Right of his brother on abortion and when he was Governor of Florida he prevented rape victims and victims of incest from getting an abortion. And he and Scott Walker, they're the 'serious candidates' according to folks like Paul Waldman, David Brooks, and the RNC.

Then there's the other serious candidate Marco Rubio who once supported an anti-abortion bill with the excpetions of life of the mothter, incest, and rape and is now so ashamed of this he lied and claimed never to have supported it last night.
Again, this is nothing but hypocrisy. It's style and no substance. Why exactly was Todd Akin so criticized in 2012 when the three candidates considered the most likely to win the nomination by the Very Serious People-Jeb, Rubio, and Walker-all have the same view on abortion that Akin did?
This is why people who want to make a show of defending women by criticizing Trump are just shadow-boxing phonies
The entire country has seen this attack by the GOP on a woman's right to choose. In many GOP dominated states almost all women's healthcare clinics have been shut down in the last few years.
Jeb Bush didn't misspeak the other day when he wondered why we waste all this money on women's health. An attack on Planned Parenthood is an attack on the healthcare of millions of American women.
