Let's be Clear: No one Cares About IT Security

Neither the GOP nor the Beltway media in typical feeding frenzy mode over another faux Clinton Scandal give a fig about IT security. If they did they'd ask systemic questions about IT procedures and maybe why previous Secretary of States have also used private email servers.

"SecStates have been using private mail servers for the last three administrations. How about we focus on updating outdated policies?"

But neither the GOP nor the media are doing this. It's because it's not about security, it's about politics, it's about what Kevin McCarthy said: it's about bringing down her poll numbers, of making her 'untrustable.'

Just like Kevin McCarthy and the GOP House never cared about Benghazi-either it's real causes nor the loss of the victims or the pain of their families. It was pure politics.

If someone wanted to dispute my point then do something other than talk about Hillary Clinton. That will never happen. If it doesn't have the potential to hurt her politically, there's zero interest in it.

Meanwhile, the GOP laughably calls the email story 'disqualifying.'

"Paul Ryan on Tuesday night continued harshly criticizing Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while in office, saying that “she clearly lives above the law” and that her actions were disqualifying."

“What bothers me about this is that the Clintons really are living above the law,” the House Speaker told Megyn Kelly during an interview on Fox News. “This is one of the reasons why people are so dissatisfied, so upset about government. They think that people live by a different set of rules, and the Clintons, they take the candle on this one."

Asked by Kelly whether he thought Clinton’s actions were disqualifying, Ryan replied: “Oh, sure I do.”

Regarding Trump, Ryan promises that if Trump does a Muslim ban, they'll sue him. This is his own nominee and he's claiming she's the one disqualified?

Donald Trump had his Trump U case postponed till after the election and is still running his businesses and Hillary is the one living above the law?

There was all this storm and stress about how we had to hear James Comey's verdict on Emailgate before the Dem Convention as the people have a right to know.

What about Trump U? Don't Americans have the right to know whether or not Trump is guilty of defrauding 40,000 regular Americans before they decide whether or not to vote for him?

It's a pretty serious blindspot for us not to know. Just like it's a pretty serious blindspot not to see his tax returns.
As for the Trump U plaintiffs what chance do they have of winning their case if Trump becomes President?

So Donald Trump is the one who has truly lived above the law and still does.

The levels of conflict of interest with Trump are truly unprecedented.
