Trump Delegate: Hillary Should be Shot for Treason

Imagine if the Trumpsters actually had the awesome power of the Presidency at its finger tips.

"An adviser to Donald Trump on veterans issues said on Tuesday that Hillary Clinton should be put in a firing line and shot for treason."

"New Hampshire state representative Al Baldasaro, who is also a Trump delegate from the state and has appeared with Trump at campaign events, made the comments on the Jeff Kuhner Show."

“I’m a veteran that went to Desert Shield, Desert Storm. I’m also a father who sent a son to war, to Iraq, as a Marine Corps helicopter avionics technician. Hillary Clinton to me is the Jane Fonda of the Vietnam,” he said. “She is a disgrace for the lies that she told those mothers about their children that got killed over there in Benghazi. She dropped the ball on over 400 emails requesting back up security. Something’s wrong there.”

“This whole thing disgusts me, Hillary Clinton should be put in the firing line and shot for treason,” he added.

"Baldasaro has spoken at several Trump events, introducing Trump multiple times, including at an event in late May where he admonished the media for focusing on questions over Trump’s donations to veteran’s charities."

"He later added in the radio interview that Clinton was a “piece of garbage.”

"A spokesperson for the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment."

But it's not hard to see how someone like Baldasaro comes to comments like this. After all, last night you had a Roman coliseum like atmosphere.

'Lock her up, lock her up!'

And the energy sounded like 'Lock her up-or worse' like Trump says 'Let's do waterboarding; or worse.'

Eric Zorn talks about how Patricia Smith blames Hillary personally for the death of her son in Benghazi, Sean Smith.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/zorn/ct-republican-convention-hillary-clinton-benghazi-perspec-0720-md-20160719-column.html

Ben Carson chimes in that Hilary is close friends with Lucifer.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/ben-carson-lucifer-clinton-225863

And you wonder why someone might come to the conclusion that maybe Hillary should be shot for treason?

It's logical if you believe she's best friends with Lucifer. I mean, surely, you'd shoot Lucifer if you could right?

If you believe she personally has Sean Smith's blood on your hands.

So this sort of demonization incites people to fantasize about violence against her. On the other side of the conversation few in the media push back at all. Surely, it's just normal politics. You know both sides do it.

This on the heels of that pilot who merely 'joked' about killing her. Great joke.

  2. The GOP is like ISIS in this regard: the more disorganized, fractured and terrified they become at becoming delegated to the dust bin of history, the more vicious they become. Like a rabid badger cornered in a garbage pit.

  5. Now that Colbert beat SNL to the punch on a perfect Melania Trump impersonation (see my comment on your other post), they need new material, and LOTS of things present themselves. Witch trial, two minute hate, Carson's insanity, secret Muslim comments, ... shoot, they'll have a whole weeks worth of material to pick through.

I really hope they don't do Melania at this point, since Colbert really stole their thunder there... unless they make her part of a larger skit.

  6. Yes. The omission was pretty glaring

    2. Thanks. I know us twitter abstainers are a tiny minority, but maybe you could put a link in your right side bar sometime for easy access.

  9. Lovin' me some Jason Taylor:

Between the indelible mental image invoked by politician-warrior, Joni Ernst, castrating pigs; Rudy Giuliani, back on watch while hysterically reliving memories of towering infernos; and Melania Trump plagiarizing Michelle Obama’s words to fill in the gaps of her own fatuous life story — what’s left? Donald Trump appearing onstage in a cloud of blue smoke accompanied by an unauthorized recording of Queen’s “We Are the Champions”? Was this GOP Convention opener supposed to be pathos or bathos?

It has been created the same way the National Socialists created the Nazi Party. With lies, hatred of ethnic groups, claims that their country had been hijacked by the liberals, promise to make it great again. History repeats itself when the populace is drawn to demagoguery, and we’ve seen plenty of it in Cleveland.

    1. Been interesting how Red State and The Insurgent has been anti Trump hotbeds.

    2. Well I think Taylor in particular is among the best. Meanwhile Susan Write is grumbling that Jesus died again because the GOP let a Muslim talk and streiff is in full on HDS again (not as bad as the people you list in your post above, but close).

In contrast Rubin, Taylor, Ben Howe, Bill S. and too a lesser extent Leon Wolf and Steve Berman actually realize that Trump and Clinton are not equal... Trump truly is significantly worse (and not just for people like you and I, they realize he'll be worse for everyone)

  10. Here's the thing. She says they didn't accept her resignation. I think the media might want her to really step down.

On plagiarism the media is very strict. Someone has to pay for this terrible sin.

It's how they look at it.

Anyway, thankfully, Trump just sent out a defiant tweet that will keep the story going.

    He can always be trusted

  11. Mike, this is a good sign: HDS is the subject of both a new Rubin post and a US News article. The rabid, foaming mouths of the mouth-breathers has not escaped their attention:

    http://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2016-07-20/republicans-are-locked-in-with-trump-at-the-rnc-and-cant-pivot

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2016/07/20/lock-her-up-is-the-chant-of-a-banana-republic/

The Democrats have a real opportunity here to contrast themselves with these fascist thugs calling for blood. I don't think they should ignore it. It's ripe for comdey for one. SNL should be able to have some fun with this. As Steve Krakauer at TheResurgent points out, a big surprise about the GOP convention is how boring it is:
    http://theresurgent.com/the-biggest-surprise-of-the-gop-convention-is-how-boring-it-is/

The Dems should put on a better show. I'm thinking comedy might be just the bill here. Bring up a stand up comic or do a skit. Make the fascists in the GOP a laughing stock. It's one thing that's krypotnite to the doom and gloom fear mongering of the right: humor. Plus it adds levity and fun to the show. Clinton is not the one to pull it off though: Obama could! He's funny. But maybe invite some other folks like John Stewart and Colbert. Think of the fun they could have skewering the mouth breathers and making their self-heightened false rage over nothing look utterly ridiculous.

    1. After watching the GOP's doom and gloom show, the country might really appreciate a break with some Dem levity. I don't think they should follow suit with doom and gloom about Donald. Some of that is good, but don't dwell on it.

Explicitly point out that no Republicans will be going to prison if Hillary wins. Draw contrasts. Get a shout going of "Freedom of speech! Freedom of speech!" ... something like that to show-off the giant chasm between the parties.
