But just in case anyone thinks this overkill, that he's not really that bad:
"Trump right now is going back to Cruz's father and Lee Harvey Oswald. "Has anybody ever denied that was his father" with Oswald?

"The morning after Donald Trump accepted the nomination of the Republican party, he for some inexplicable reason decided to defend his past reference to Ted Cruz's father having been somehow connected to Lee Harvey Oswald. Trump suggested that the thoroughly unproven link might still exist, so we're republishing this article from May to explain what's going on. If we can."

I think I know what this inexplicable reason was. Trump is on full tilt over Cruz's anti endorsement. As well he might be. Chuck Todd was saying this morning that it was both the best and the worst moment at this week's convention, a moment we will remember for years.
Trump on Cruz: "Maybe I’ll set up a super PAC if he decides to run. Are you allowed to set up a super PAC Mike as president?"

"If you are an establishment republican who just sat through that Trump press conference, your Friday is off to a very bad start."

Harry Enten:
"Folks, there's no second gear. There is no general election Trump. There's Trump. Love him or hate him, but there's one Trump."

With all the speculation when Hillary announces her VP, maybe she'll wait till tomorrow at least. Why step on this meltdown?
"I've always said, 'Why didn't the National Enquirer get the Pulitzer Prize for Edwards and OJ and all these things." - Donald J. Trump
