Morning of the Democratic Debate and Politico is Full of Hillary Bashing Headlines

The very top and front page story of Politico talks about how Emailgate is a 'cancer on Hillary's candidacy'-which is becoming as credible as Biden talk-which is as credible-and talk of Biden is becoming as credible as an Elvis sighting.

Speaking of Biden, Jake Tapper himself told me that Biden will be making a decision soon. Maybe he knows this from reliable inside information though I'm skeptical. How many times have we heard this before?

So I'll give him credit for at least responding to me on Twitter but we've seen this movie a few times too many.

In both cases they rather desperately try to make something so by repeatedly saying it's so. The media I think takes what the political scientists say to heart. that media coverage can really shape a candidates' poll numbers.

While I agree they have some ability to this election season has shown that this ability is far from absolute.

With Hillary they have been determined to make it a race rather than a cakewalk and they've done this in part by cherrypicking her polls to make it sound like it's closer than it is. Yesterday's numbers again show it's not that close.

Again, this is the media trying to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. The pollsters have joined in with the pack by having every poll include Biden in its main poll-which artificially lowers her numbers. If Biden did enter his numbers would likely never get as high as the 20% he's shown in these hypothetical polls.

As far as Emailgate she's out of the worst phase with the new public awareness that the Benghazi Committee is nothing but a Super PAC John Boehner wanted to run inside a Congressional Committee.

This whole story is going to work in her favor-already has as she placed two Benghazi ads last week.

So despite all the talk Hillary is coming in to tonight''s debate in much better shape than she was a few weeks ago. She's back on offense and she will do very well tonight. This is not her first rodeo.
