Kasich seems to be in that mode where he just has to do something. So he came out and just called both Carson and Trump crazy and their tax plans as based on a fantasy.
Then he started a long monologue about how great Ohio was because of his tax policies. Balanced budgets and lots of growth, etc.
However, Trump came back and hit him good. He first dismissed Ohio's growth as based on fracking- this is something Krugman always points out regarding Jeb's so-called Florida Miracle. That and the housing boom.
Then Trump did him like he did Jeb by putting Kasich's name in a setnence with two very unpleasant words in any US political debate: Lehman Brothers.
Trump says he was on the board and Kaisch insisted he wasn't on the board but he had some other high faluting sounding job which doesn't really make it much better.
So score on for Trump there at least as I score it.
That was great, Which is another reason why I'm a Trump Democrat.

P.S. I'm shocked but grateful that Nate Silver is finally considering my argument about the GOP primary. Yes, maybe usually the party decides but maybe the GOP is an outlier this time.
