It is Inhumane to Grill Hillary For 11 Hours

I know you can argue it comes with the territory, she had a big job and we had four Americans lose their lives and it's the least she can do.

Don't get me wrong, she has never complained and always talked about the lose of these four brave Americans and not herself.

I don't mean asking her questions is inhumane but 11 straight hours with just a few breaks is absurd. I mean we have had huge social protests and revolutions just to get us an eight hour day.

Again, she had a big job and don't get me wrong, she obviously can take it. I mean the woman is a marvel. Not only is there reason to hope she is about to tear down a big glass ceiling but she has already done a great thing for seniors.

I mean a 68 year grandmother can just go like this for 11 hours without a hair out of place or ever losing a radiant smile; this says something. It's hard to imagine how Mr. Low Energy, Jeb Bush survives a debate against her.

After all, her seven GOP interrogators at least divide the time beneath themselves and can rest. She got no break. And even her five Democratic friends who are trying to give her a fair chance and trying to throw her a life preserver still requires her to give more answers to questions.

But the issue with the amount of time is less just about what it is for her to go through it and just that it in itself shows us this wasn't a serious hearing. Lawrence O'Donnell has done a great job showing why the Watergate hearings and other previous hearings were real hearings and this just a McCarthyite show trial.

If you want real answers from HRC you don't make it this long. Like O'Donnell pointed out, at Watergate they used lawyers for a good deal of questioning.

If you really need answers from her relating to Benghazi-that somehow weren't covered in her previous testimony and the eight prior investigations-you wouldn't need to question her for 11 straight hours.

It would need take no more than a couple of hours. That's if this wasn't a witch trial.
