If you understand nothing else my fellow Hillary lovers this is it. They have no basis to defeat her personally and they know this.
They know their ideas aren't winners: deporting 11 million undocumented immigrants, more tax cuts and cuts in regulations for the rich while tax hikes or spending cuts for the nonrich-destroying ACA or a woman's right to choose as well as her birth control choices and healthcare options.
These are political losers but it's what the GOP believes in. But don't underestimate them just because their's is the minority position.
Thanks to Koch dollars they have been able to buy state government after state government to the point that Roe v Wade is all but obsolete in many Red states.

The GOP has a lot of power today at the state and regional level. They are shorthanded to win Presidential elections-though thanks to gerrymandering they will likely control the House at least until 2020.
I believe that Hillary is the favorite to win in 2016 but I probably shouldn't even say this as it could be an excuse to get complacent.
Jeb-or possibly Rubio-absolutely could win. Indeed, if you believe the political scientists, if the economy were to slow down they could be the favorite to do so. If they were to win then they'd probably also keep the Senate in this scenario and then they could rollback a lot of President Obama's achievements.
Goodbye to ACA. Goodbye to Planned Parenthood. Goodbye to Dodd-Frank and an embassy in Cuba and hello perhaps to war with Iran. Hello to gutting Social Security and Medicare.
Worst of all, maybe another conservative or two on the Supreme Court.
The GOP party itself will spend $1 billion to make this happy along with another $1 billion or so from the Koches.
The attack on Hillary will be viscious and it will be personal. Lots of petty talk about how she's not a real person and-even yes, she might be a good President but she's a terrible campaigner-just like Gore in 2000 she has been called wooden.
Very little is said about her actual proposals like ending mass incarceration of black men, of ending interest on college loans, of ending voter suppression. of a comprehensive plan to raise wages in the Uber economy.
Nope. No matter what she says the Beltway media works with the GOP and says Yawn. She just can't relate to average Americans. She said she was flat broke when she and Bill left the White House. What about her emails? Liberals are getting nervous. Maybe it's time to have Biden save them.
Liberals are bored with her. They don't want a dynasty candidate they are more interested in Bernie. Remember Hillary voted for Iraq.
The media has taken upon itself-even alleged liberals like at the NY Times, MSNBC, or Washington Post be her primary candidate.

Trey Gowdy is the MVP for the GOP in this campaign. The more muck he can get the media to print and announce the more he helps Jeb at Hillary's expense. Huma Abedin is going to be a frequent victim in the next few days and weeks I'm afraid.
