Dropkick Murphys Dropkick Scott Walker

He's been dropkicked a lot lately. He was supposed to be one of the top three establishment candidate-along with Jeb and Rubio.

Now he's admitted to desperately needing the state of Iowa where he''s currently polling at 3%.

It looks like the Dropkick Murphys have found a politician they like.

"The Boston-based punk band in January told Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker to stop playing their music, but on Saturday they praised Democratic presidential candidate and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley."

"Back in January, the band told Scott Walker, "we literally hate you," after he walked onto the stage to one of their songs at the Iowa Freedom Summit."

Walker literally has the worst position on abortion in the entire GOP field-no exceptions even for the life of the mother-so his implosion would be very welcome.

This literally puts him to the Right even of the Catholic Church:

"Scott Walker: Life of Fetus More Important than Life of a Mother?"

"Even the Roman Catholic Church accepts abortion to save the life of a mother."

"The governor of Wisconsin's position apparently makes him stricter than the Pope. The Roman Catholic Church permits using abortion as a medical technique to save the life of a mother, e.g., cases of ectopic pregnancy. The New Zealand Catholic pro-life organization summarizes:"

"The Catholic Church along with most other religions, recognises the moral principal of what is called the "double effect."

"In the case of abortion, this means that any treatment done to save the life of the mother that also results in the death of an unborn child is not truly an abortion, since the death of the child was not the primary intention."

"In such a case, even if the death of the child is a foregone conclusion, the death was an indirect effect of the surgical procedure."

"Actually, I suspect that Walker simply hasn't thought deeply about this issue and gave a knee-jerk response so as to not appear to be flip-flopping."

This was the Right wing Reason magazine so after saying all this they wanted to give Walker a little bit of a lifeline at the end by saying he didn't really know what he was saying, he just was pandering.

I don't know. His record in Wisconsin is pretty extreme on abortion.

A Mother Jones piece though suggests that Walker actually was using the Catholic definition of abortion-where by definition an abortion to save the life of the mother doesn't count as an abortion as the intent is to save the mother's life not terminate the pregnancy.

Whatever, I mean do the women of American want to wait and find out what he means? Again his own record shows he really does oppose exceptions for rape and the life of the mother.

In my view, there are a lot of vital issues in this election. One of these is immigration. I think Trump has helped clarify some things there.

Another very big issue is abortion. A just huge concern. Just look at what the GOP Congress is doing with more government shutdown chicken over Planned Parenthood.

Can you imagine what happens if they were to take the White House to a woman's right to choose which is already under terrible attack at the state level?

UPDATE: The CNN poll just realized shows Walker at literally zero.
