Desperate Chris Chritsie Tries to Deflect on Bridgegate by Attacking Hillary's Emails

Clearly he's in Hail Mary mode now. For some reason CNN has let him into Wednesday's debate though his poll numbers are nonexistent and that leaves 11 in the main debate and only 4 at the kid's table-now that Rick Perry has accepted reality.

When Chuck Todd asked him about Bridgegate he deftly deflected onto Hillary. He argued that after Bridgegate he took questions for an hour the next day and she should have done the same.

"Can you imagine, if after the bridge investigation began, I came out and said 'Oh, I've done all my business as governor on a private email server. And, I've deleted now 30,000 of those emails. But trust me none of it had to do with the bridge.' Give me a break," Christie said on CNN's "New Day."

Wow. Where to start-there are so many ironies here? First of all unlike him, she hasn't been accused of anything. Christie said just because 4 people were indicted in his office is no big deal-and we don't know if they're guilty yet.

So how does he know Hillary is?

Biggest irony of all, is that he too used private emails and it's thanks to an email trail we know about Bridgegate at all

Anyway, Meet the Press today as usual was a trainwreck. We had the Christie interview, then Todd interviewed Tea Party GOPers Jim Demint and Tom Cole; later he's got: you guessed, it Bernie.

Meanwhile he round table is a who's who of Krugman's Very Serious Beltway Insiders. The Right wing journalist Cathleen Parker, David Brooks, and some women from Hillary bashing NPR

Literally not a single Democrat on the whole show.
