Good News For American Women: Scott Walker Polls at Zero Post Debate

In my previous post I talked about Scott Walker's troubles. He is now putting all eggs in the Iowa basket post debate.

This is not exactly a comfortable position considering that recent polls showed him at 3%.

However, today's new CNN poll is simply a bombshell. Walker has now joined team zero-he has under half a percent of support.

The Wisconsin governor and onetime Iowa front-runner needed to deliver a standout performance to reverse his plummeting standings in the polls, but nonpartisan analysts said Thursday he failed to deliver.

“I just don’t think it was enough,” said Jennifer Duffy of the Cook Political Report. “I think he’s on a slow, painful slide.”

Five other candidates received less than one-half of 1 percentage point support: former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former New York Gov. George Pataki and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

Walker's collapse is especially stark.

Celebrated by conservatives -- in the party's base and its donor class alike -- for his union-busting efforts in Wisconsin, Walker at one point led the field in the key early voting state of Iowa.

His support had already dropped to 5% in a CNN/ORC poll in early September, but the bottom appears to have fallen out completely since then -- with a second flat debate performance coming after criticism of his disparate answers on issues like birthright citizenship."

But bad news for Scott Walker can only be good news for the women of America in light of his terrible record on abortion. As Wisconsin Governor he signed bills banning abortion in cases or rape and abortion.

It's good news for all working Americans. After all, this is someone who argues that he will be a great Commander in Chief because of the way he raped Wisconsin's public unions-and not just public either as he later broke a pledge and went after private unions as well.
