There are so many good lines for this one. Maybe it's time for Jeb! to lose the exclamation point?
The Daily Mail had a great subtitle:
"No need for tiptoes to see over this crowd, eh Jeb! Bush addresses just a handful of people at Las Vegas rally "

"Jeb Bush did not have to stand on his tiptoes to see over the crowd at his most recent rally."
Appearing in Las Vegas on Thursday afternoon - just one day after the Republican debate during which he was caught standing on his toes during the photocall with the other candidates - Bush addressed a very sparse crowd of supporters.
When asked to comment on the low attendance, Bush remarked that it was to be expected given that the rally happened in the middle of the afternoon.

"The Washington Post reports that Bush appeared in a rec center room that could hold 200 people but had only half that."
'I hope that I am so brilliant and so eloquent and so high-energy that you feel compelled to caucus for me,' Bush told the crowd.
"He also made a joke about Trump, without naming him, and the fact that he could fill a basketball arena with people for his rallies."

"Appearing on America's Newsroom on Fox News Thursday morning, Bush explained his tiptoe incident during Wednesday night's debate by saying; 'I was looking over to the press to see where my wife was sitting because she's the love of my life and just I need to have eye contact with her before we started."
'You've been married 42 years that's the kind of thing you do.'
"It was a rough not for Bush however, with polls giving the win to his competitors Carly Fiorina and Trump."

I have to admit as a born Brit-and a naturalized American-the British have a way of putting things, eh?
But Jeb's own exclamation of why his rally wasn't so big was pretty good as well: it was three in the afternoon, after all, and people were at work.
I think most people would choose to be at work at three in the afternoon than listen to Jeb!

See right there he makes himself look kind of silly. His best line is belaboring Trump's insults. Trump called him low energy and Jeb can never stop talking about that. He keeps trying to convince everyone that he's not low energy. He even tried to convince Trump of that.
Now he explains why he was standing on his tip toes in that debate picture.
'You've been married 42 years that's the kind of thing you do.'

Aha. Trump did win in the polls. I pointed out the fissure between the Beltway press who almost all says he bombed with the polls that showed him actually beating Carly.

There is just nothing better than seeing the Beltway press being wrong again.
