Hillary Brings Down Town Hall With Best Promise of All

This was the biggest applause of the night: she said she doesn't want to make promises she can't keep. Who said pragmatism isn't sexy?

When she got a question about fracking she actually got into the details-the different state laws at work, the way some states benefit from it.

She pointed out that no President can just wave a wand and fracking is over. David Axelrod:

"Easier to say you'll ban fracking than answer honestly & realistically how to balance the law, energy needs and public health."

Bernie has this tendency to overpromise that makes me trust him less rather than more and it's clear I'm not the only one.

It's the same thing with trade. It's easier to say I'm against all trade deals than admit that these deals are neither pure evil or pure light but that it just depends on the details.

Charles Blow didn't like Benrie's answer on criminal justice:

"Bernie says DOJ will investigate EVERY police killing. Nearly 1,200 ppl killed by police in 2015. How is that possible? Don't oversell..."

"I'm having a hard time listening to this. My ears are hearing the actual words, not just what they want to hear. Don't like pipe dreams..."

Finally both Joy Reid and David Axelrod liked her admission she's not a natural politician.

"Clinton admits she's not the most natural politician, but she's much better at presenting herself and opening up than she was in 2008."
