News Flash: Bernie Doesn't Like Wall St.

It was interesting. At tonight's debate a young guy got up and asked him a question. It's the sort of young man that usually is all about the Bern.

However, this one noted that Bernie sure demonizes Wall St. Turns out the kid plans to work in finance.

Bernie tried to gussy up his answer but the punch line is that 'Wall St. is organized fraud' and that the kid might want to consider working at a community bank.

Chuck Todd asked him if this changes his mind about a career? The answer was no.

Todd then asked him if he considers Sherrod Brown a good progressive. Bernie says yes he does and that 'He's a good friend of mine.'

Todd then pointed out that Brown has taken Wall St. money as well.

He then pointed out the unfairness that the Koch Brothers are going to spend $900 million in this campaign cycle and that this isn't fair.

Of course, a lot of their money is pointed not at Bernie but Hillary who he tries to paint as a Wall St. shill.

I have said all along that I find Bernie's obsession with money in politics one-dimensional. As Steve Phillips points out, progressives have a lot of money too.
