Lindsey Graham Chooses Being Poisoned and Over Being Shot

For months he had said that was what the choice between Trump and Cruz amounts to. Now he's not just supporting Cruz but raising money for him.

Lindsey Graham will raise money for Ted Cruz — a man he has said some amazingly bad things about

"Sen. Lindsey Graham will soon raise money for Ted Cruz's presidential campaign, as CNN's Dana Bash just reported."

"Which is an amazing turn of events, given the things Graham previously said about Cruz. He has said on multiple occasions that Cruz is would be the death of the Republican Party and is no better than Donald Trump. He has even joked about killing Cruz."

Amazing turn of events. Remember Ted Cruz is literally the most hated man in the Senate. His own party can't stand him for all his grandstanding stunts he's pulled that cut his own party off at the knees. Like when he shutdown the government singlehandedly in 2013.

Meanwhile, guess who else is coming around to Ted Cruz? Yes, Little Marco. He thinks that Kasich should get out and that Cruz is the true conservative left in the race.

"Now that he's out of the running for the GOP nomination, Marco Rubio believes Ted Cruz is "the only true conservative left in the race."

"Speaking to Minnesota supporters, Rubio stopped short of endorsing Cruz or John Kasich in the Republican primary against Donald Trump, the St. Paul Pioneer-Press reported late Wednesday night, citing a conference call. But Rubio did have some positive words for the Texas senator."

"The Florida senator also knocked the national media's negative coverage of the race."

“The media kind of just said, ‘Marco Rubio had a terrible night, and it looks like the strongest anti-Trump alternative is Ted Cruz,'” said Rubio, referring to his dismal performance in the March 1 primaries. Apart from victories in Minnesota, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, he failed to take any other contests in the primary fight.

"Rubio did acknowledge that media coverage treated him like the winner in Iowa after a third-place finish, noting that the campaign "benefited from that narrative, but in the end, we were hurt by it, too. That’s just the way it is.”

Well it wasn't just the media that said that-it was the delegates.

He does argue that Kasich has no path to victory other than a brokered convention which would he argues would anger the voters. Certainly, that's true.

Of course, Ted Cruz has a real uphill climb to 1237 now himself after having a dreadful Tuesday were he picked up less than 40 delegates the whole night in five states.

It seems likely that no one other than Trump has a realistic route to 1237 and one could argue that with two opponents there is a better chance to pick him off and hold him short of the needed delegates.
