Bernie's Tortured Arguments on Super Delegates

After his lost Tuesday were he went 0 for 5 and got beaten by a strong 14 point margin in Ohio, Bernie started to reverse himself on super delegates. Before he was arguing that it's undemocratic for them to vote differently than their state.

After Tuesday, he started arguing that maybe those from states which voted for Hillary should vote differently than their own state. Total reversal right? But now he actually is trying to talk out of both sides of his mouth at the same time.

He wants those in states he wins to go with him and those in states she wins to-go with him. This is his new path to victory as he currently is only 1/3 of the way to 2382 while she is already 2/3 of the way.

In an interview with CBS’s "Face The Nation," Sanders said that in states he’s won by wide margins, the superdelegates “should listen to the people in their own state.”

“That is common sense and I think superdelegates should do that,” Sanders said.

As for superdelegates in states Clinton won, Sanders argued they should consider nominating him if he’s in a stronger position to defeat Republican Donald Trump in the general election.

“I think you're going to see some superdelegates saying, 'You know what, I like Hillary Clinton, but I want to win this thing. Bernie is our guy.’”

Bernie, it's about knowing when to say when. People will credit you for running a good campaign as long as you don't stay in too long. When this is the best argument you can come up with for how you win this thing, I think you realize your campaign has jumped the shark.
