Sean Spicer is Unable to Point to a Single Thing in Alt Right Speech That Was Wrong

He suggested that it was 'over the top' and an act of 'desperation', but what was actually false?

He never said.

Josh Barro observed:

"Stephanie Ruhle asked @seanspicer if anything Hillary said about Trump said in her speech was wrong, and Spicer dodged the question."

Mark Murray:

"That was my takeaway, too."

It's not clear what in her speech she said could be denied. Nothing was false. The Trump campaign has tried to say that the Alt Right is not an important part of the campaign.

Trump in his Anderson Cooper interview last night said that 'No one knows anything about the Alt Right' which sort of reminds you of when he claimed not to know anything about David Duke, the KKK, and white supremacists: 'I don't know anything about any white supremacists.'

Meanwhile, no one agrees with Trump calling Hillary a bigot. Spicer demurred and no GOPer has followed that.

It is pretty rich as she's beating him about 93 to 0 among Black Voters.

Even Ben Carson is warning Trump about this.

"Republican nominee to cease and desist calling Hillary Clinton a "bigot."

“I don’t generally get into the name-calling thing,” the former presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon told The Daily Beast on Friday. “I kind of left that behind in the third grade. I certainly don’t encourage it because the issues that we’re facing are incredibly important—for us and for the future generations.”

"Trump has invoked the epithet on multiple occasions this week, from various speeches and rallies to an interview with Anderson Cooper Thursday night, suggesting that Clinton sees African-American and other minorities only as votes to be gained."

“That’s what people do who don’t have anything to talk about,” Carson said, referring to both candidates trading accusations of racism and bigotry."

"But the brash Manhattan businessman has shown little sign of backing away from that line of attack, releasing two videos Friday hitting Clinton for her past race-based controversies."

"How quickly people forget that Crooked Hillary called African-American youth 'SUPER PREDATORS' - Has she apologized?" Trump tweeted Friday afternoon, referring to one such episode from the 1990s.

Actually she has and Trump sure has chutzpah. This is someone who once wanted to have a segregated Apprentice and who has never had an African American CEO at Trump Organization.

He claims to oppose all political correctness but to also be offended by the term super predator?

Hillary has declined to call Trump a racist though she'd be on decently firm ground in doing so.

Jennifer Rubin thought Hillary was dead on in her Alt Right speech

"Clinton nails it: Trump is an unhinged racist."
"#NeverTrump Republicans knew even a minimally competent Democrat could destroy Donald Trump in the general election. By using his own words and associations, a picture — accurate and deserved — of an unhinged racist and misogynist would emerge. Today, Hillary Clinton painted the picture for Americans, reiterating what the Republican National Committee dullards who backed him failed to appreciate: No one like Trump should become president of the United States."

There's no way to deny her speech. All she did was repeat back what he's said, review his record, point out that over 50% of his RTs are Alt Right and point out that Breitbart is running his campaign.

That video was also simply the truth. David Duke and other KKKers support him and believe that not voting for him is betrayal of the white race.
