Talk about confusion. She stands by her past Trump criticism and yet she's basically the one leading his campaign.
While she is the most professional presence he has had, remember she was also the one called in to rescue Todd Akin after his 'legitimate rape' mess.
Exactly, Adrian Carrasquillo.

"Donald Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, was confronted Sunday with a video of her past criticisms of the Republican presidential nominee — and she said she stands by some of them."
"On ABC News’ "This Week With George Stephanopoulos," the host played a video — citing the liberal advocacy group Media Matters for America — of Conway blasting Trump in cable news appearances for his “vulgar” language and for not releasing his tax returns, among other criticisms."
"Stephanopoulos asked Conway whether she stands by her past statements."
“I do,” she said. “And the reason is I don't like when people hurl personal insults. That will never change. That's not my style. I'm a mother of four small children. And it would be a terrible example for me to feel otherwise.”
"Stephanopoulos then asked whether she thinks Trump will stop insulting people."
“He doesn't hurl personal insults,” she responded. “In other words, he just this week, look what he talked about. He's bringing the case right to communities of color in Michigan. And he's speaking to all Americans when he does that, George.”
"Stephanopoulos then pressed her on whether she stands by her previous call for Trump to release his tax returns.
“I've learned since on being the inside that this audit is a serious matter and that he has said that when the audit is complete, he'll release his tax returns,” she responded. “I also know as a pollster that what concerns people most about, quote, ‘taxes’ is their own tax liability.”

She doesn't like personal insults. How does she feel about lying as claiming that Trump doesn't use personal insults is a whopper.
Beyond that, Trump has been using this phony audit excuse for months. She knew of it back when she was criticizing him for not releasing his tax returns.
She's claiming she learned something new about the nature of Trump's audit and the seriousness since she joined? Well if it's that serious do we really want to elect a man in this much trouble with the IRS?
And why won't he release previous years as it's been confirmed he's not being audited in previous years.
Of course, this is all specious nonsense as you can release your taxes during an audit as the IRS has confirmed.
Furthermore, if Ms. Conway doesn't like insults how she feel about Trump latest Twitter rant this morning at Morning Joe?
Yesterday it was Donny Deustsch:
"AM: Conway says Trump "doesn't hurl personal insults." PM: Trump calls Donny Deutsch "little" & a "big failure."

Now it's Morning Joe:
"Donald Trump laced into the hosts of MSNBC's morning show anew on Monday, accusing one of co-hosts of being "neurotic" and a "mess" and both of them as being "two clowns."
"Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!" Trump tweeted Monday, referring specifically to Mika Brzezinski, in response to the first hour and 20 minutes of MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
"Minutes after his initial tweet, Trump offered another personal broadside."
"Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika. Two clowns!" Trump tweeted.
"The show offered its usual criticism of the GOP nominee, returning from one commercial break to the tune of "Everything Is Awesome" from "The Lego Movie," as a clip of Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus telling ABC on Sunday that Trump had a "great week" and is "getting into a groove."
"Everything's awesome," Brzezinski said. "Everything's awesome," co-host Joe Scarborough repeated.
Brzezinski offered, "This is the part I don't understand. You just have to look at this as an opportunity, right? You can't pretend this is OK."

"So Trump is basically taunting the co-hosts of @Morning_Joe while they're on live TV. He's done this to @MegynKelly & @ChrisCuomo before too."

"CONSIDER THIS - Hillary Clinton today announced an $80m ad buy in key states. Donald Trump is tweeting about morning cable television."

Morning Joe got his hit in at Trump:
"@HillaryClinton is targeting key swing states today while Trump starts his day obsessed with cable news hosts while channeling Gawker. SAD!"

Brian Stelter also makes a point I made earlier about the Clinton team quoting Breitbart:
"With Breitbart's chair running Trump's campaign, articles like this one take on new meaning: http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/08/21/exclusive-rnc-official-says-trumps-hispanic-meeting-says-never-said-open-amnesty/ …
