What was John Miller's Tax Rate Last Year?

Well, as Trump won't release his, maybe his publicist will. Scott Sumner says the job he'd kill for would be doing oppo research against Donald Trump.

It is rewarding but a very busy job. Wow.

There are probably hundreds of questions you can ask just about Trump's tax returns.

You know who else is going to have a lot of fun the next six months? Political satirists, if last night's SNL is any gauge.

"Saturday Night Live has been no stranger to making jokes about Donald Trump during the course of his campaign for President. But now that he’s become the republican nominee, and he had a first week full of bizarre and embarrassing controversies, SNL devoted the entire first half of tonight’s Weekend Update segment to making fun of his idiocy. In fact the first several jokes were centered around the true story of Trump pretending to be his own publicist, the fictional John Miller."

"The Weekend Update segment was unusually long and appeared to have been frontloaded with several Trump jokes added at the last minute after the John Miller story broke on Friday. “It’s been one week since Trump became the presumptive nominee, and so far, so good,” quipped the anchor in reference to the obvious comedic material coming out of Trump’s disastrous week. SNL then played the tape of the supposed John Miller, pointing out that the word “tremendously” alone gave it away as actually being Trump. The joke went on to how unimaginative the made-up name is, suggesting that Trump always sounds like he’s throwing out lame suggestions as if he were on the speed round of Family Feud. SNL then went on to suggest that Donald Trump should produce John Miller’s birth certificate."

"The jokes continued. Donald Trump’s apparent multiple personalities were compared to Fight Club, before reporting an actual poll that showed Americans have a higher favorability rating for lice than for Trump (then joking that “lice” was Ted Cruz). He was then made fun of for not being able to get better republican endorsers than the long-disposed Newt Gingrich and Dan Quayle, before joking that Jeb Bush could end up endorsing Hillary Clinton. Trump was also lampooned for his poor running mate choices in the cold open."

It's like Sumner says, oppo researchers against Trump have such an embarrassment of riches you kind of have to pace yourselves.

Long time readers of Last Men and OverMen like Tom Brown can attest that I took it easy on Trump until he was clearly the GOP nominee.

But now there is just so much great stuff on him, it's almost daunting: where to start?

UPDATE: Even Reince  Priebus finds Trump impersonating his own spokesman 'a little bit odd.'
