Like Gadhafi, Like Something You'd See on State Run Television Somewhere

This was the reaction of many conservatives on Twitter last night to the Trump Special on Fox News:

"After a Thursday night Fox News special starring presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s family, which featured sit-down interviews with his three oldest children and wife, a slew of viewers pointed out the special wasn’t exactly a feat of adversarial journalism."

"The hour-long special, hosted by Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, featured multiple montages of Trump delivering his signature pro-business stump lines, a tour of the Trumps’ Fifth Avenue penthouse, and a walk-through of the newest Trump property blocks from the White House."

It's not surprising that Trump comes across as a dictator as those he most admire are mostly dictators-Putin, Kim Jong-un, the Chinese in the Tinanamen Square Massacre-he says it was a riot. In other words, for him there's no difference between a protest and a riot.

As I've mentioned more than once-but will keep mentioning until I see others in public do so-Hitler keeps a book of Hitler's speeches tightly locked safely in a cabinet by his bed. How intimate. The book must mean an awful lot to him.

Trump has already talked about strengthening the libel laws. Not surprising then that Thiel is a Trump supporter.

"If this is all so righteous by all means Thiel should openly bankroll suits against Gawker. The fact that he tried to do it secretly speaks for itself. There is simply no sustainable argument that Thiel's actions are righteous that can contend with his desire to do it in secret - just as there's really no sustainable argument that Thiel is a "libertarian" when he becomes a convention delegate for Donald Trump, but that's another story."

Yet the media thinks the biggest worry about transparency and abuse of power is Hillary using her private email while at state: they are totally unconcerned of course about anyone else who also used their private email exclusively-Colin Powell-or set up their own server-Jeb Bush.

But the fact that Trump won't release his own tax returns as even Nixon did while being audited or that he plans to greatly curtail the power of the press is not a concern in the least.

"This is the kind of propaganda you expect to see in North Korea or Venezuela.

Great job, Fox News. That deafening, sucking noise you hear is the last shreds of credibility and dignity you had flushing into the sewer."
