This for me was the best news of the day yesterday-and yesterday was my birthday.

Again, not to turn this into a telethon, but there is still time to buy something from Amazon from a link on my blog-as a present for your humble host.
Of course, you can always do this. Think of it this way: it's not really a donation. If you ever purchase anything on Amazon just use a link here to get you there. You're just buying something you would anyway and there's no extra cost for you-but throw a couple of dollars in my pocket.
While I don't do this just for the money, it would be nice if I could also make a little on it.
One thing I could do with more money is donate more to Hillary Clinton or to Senate Democratic races. As long as the money doesn't go to anyone Bernie Sanders supports.
One person I would donate to if I could: Debbie Wasserman Schultz who has just been endorsed by President Obama.

Ok, enough of that. Let's put the contribution cup away. LOL
Hillary gave me a great birthday present by simply turning down Fox News offer of a debate before California.
I'm sure Fox News was just being helpful here! LOL
"We have declined Fox News' invitation to participate in a debate in California. As we have said previously, we plan to compete hard in the remaining primary states, particularly California, while turning our attention to the threat a Donald Trump presidency poses," campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri said in a statement.
"We believe that Hillary Clinton's time is best spent campaigning and meeting directly with voters across California and preparing for a general election campaign that will ensure the White House remains in Democratic hands."
"In February, the Clinton and Sanders campaigns agreed to extend the Democratic debate schedule by four more debates. Three have been held, with the final debate to be held in California in May before the state's June 7 primary, according to the agreement. The statement does not signal good news for any possible California debate."
"Last week, Sanders accepted the invitation from the network to participate in the debate. Fox News has expressed interest in holding a Democratic debate for months and has been publicly lobbying the Democratic National Committee — earlier this month, Fox sent letters to both campaigns formally inviting them to a debate, moderated by Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace. Clinton and Sanders both appeared on Fox News earlier this year in back-to-back town halls moderated by Baier."
"Naturally, Fox News is disappointed that Secretary Clinton has declined our debate invitation, especially given that the race is still contested and she had previously agreed to a final debate before the California primary," Fox News Vice President and Washington Managing Editor Bill Sammon said in a statement."
Sanders also expressed frustration: “I am disappointed but not surprised by Secretary Clinton’s unwillingness to debate before the largest and most important primary in the presidential nominating process."

It's telling how disappointed both Bernie and Fox are. Of course. They share the same goal-to grind down Hillary Clinton.
Sorry. Hillary says; eat your hearts out boys.
Bernie claims he's 'insulted' that she won't debate.
"I was disturbed, but not surprised that Secretary Clinton has backed out of the debate," Sanders said at the Santa Monica, California, rally, according to The Hill. "I think it’s a little bit insulting to the people of California — our largest state — that she is not prepared to have a discussion with me about how she will help the Californians address the major crises that we face."

Judging by the conversations I've had with folks on Twitter most of us feel like we've had more than enough Dem debates to know what the two candidates are about.
As we know who our nominee will be, another debate would be pointless. She's been doing a good job focusing on Donald Trump and should continue with this. Yesterday she hit him on losing money at a casino. Not much of deal maker to do that.

What is kind of insulting is how much Bernie tries to insult our intelligence. I will miss him when he's gone. Or at least I might. Only one way to tell.
Take heart Hillary lovers, we will soon not have to listen to his self righteous pap much longer.
