Donald Trump, Super Predator

Trump claims that Bill Clinton is a predator because of his extra marital affairs. Here's what Trump was doing around the time of the Monica Lewinsky scandal:

"Temple Taggart, the 21-year-old Miss Utah, was startled by how forward he was with young contestants like her in 1997, his first year as the owner of Miss USA, a branch of the beauty pageant organization. As she recalls it, he introduced himself in an unusually intimate manner."

"He kissed me directly on the lips. I thought, “Oh my God, gross.” He was married to Marla Maples at the time. I think there were a few other girls that he kissed on the mouth. I was like “Wow, that’s inappropriate.”

"Mr. Trump disputes this, saying he is reluctant to kiss strangers on the lips. But Ms. Taggart said it was not an isolated incident."

"At the gala celebration after the show, she said, Mr. Trump immediately zeroed in on her, telling her how much he liked her style and inviting her to visit him in New York to talk about her future. Soon enough, she said, he delivered another unwelcome kiss on her lips, this time in Trump Tower. After boasting of his connections to elite modeling agencies, he advised her to lie about her age to get ahead in the industry, she said."

‘We’re going to have to tell them you’re 17,’ ” Ms. Taggart recalled him telling her, “because in his mind, 21 is too old. I was like, ‘No, we’re not going to do that.’ ”

Trump says that the 'Bible is a great book. It''s even better than the Art of the Deal and it's not even close.'

I have so say this  regarding the Bible: the New Testament makes a good point when it says "He who is without sin, cast the  first stone.'

I'll tell you what: the more you look at it, the more you realize that there is almost too much ammo in terms of Trump oppo research. Where do you store it all?

There are simply multiple Trump files already.

1. His personal conduct with women

2. His refusal to release his own taxes. What could be in them that they have been audited every year since 2004? That's the kind of treatment is reserved for mobsters.

3. Speaking of mobsters, he has done plenty of business with those.

4. There are all kinds of reasons he may be refusing to release his taxes. Maybe they show him to be less rich than he claims. Maybe they show him to pay a lower tax rate than Mitt Romney did. Harry Reid should ask his friend about Trump.

5. Is he really being audited? With Donald Trump, you never know. Why would someone lie about being audited? With Donald Trump you never know.

6. Here are some possible things he could be hiding in his taxes.

7. Steve Ratner argues it might show some really embarrassing forms of tax avoidance he's engaged in.

8. Here are 21 questions David Cay Johnston has for Trump.

"David Cay Johnston: 21 Questions for Trump on Kickbacks, Busting Unions, the Mob & Corporate Welfare."

9. There is the fact that he is not really running to be President, but to be First Dictator.

10. Speaking of his demonizing immigrants, how does he square this with his use of illegal immigrant labor?

11. Ok. So that's 10 items-and number 8 was about five issues David Mitchell has about his taxes, and number 9 was 21 questions David Cay Johnston has on Trump's taxes.

And we haven't even gotten into Trump University yet.

12. His history of banning black tenants from his NY buildings.

Scott Sumner is a major Trump hater too but I disagree with him on the question of taxes.

"Here’s how to tell is a Trump hater is intellectually honest. Check out their position on releasing tax returns. I strongly support Trump’s refusal to release his taxes, because the income tax system is an immoral monstrosity, and demanding the release of tax forms implicitly legitimizes that system. In contrast, Trump people would support him on this point, but would be outraged if he released his tax returns and Hillary refused to. With Trumpistas, it’s all tribal."

The trouble I have is that Hillary has released 30 years of taxes.

I don't agree that the income tax system is an immoral monstrosity, but even if I did, it still would be unfair for Trump not to play within the rules of the game. When you run for President, you release your tax returns.

If we want to throw away this standard, it should be before the election. Trump doesn't get to play by different rules as Hillary's already released hers.

And I disagree with Sumner and agree with Johnson: we want to see a candidate's taxes to have some assurance he's crook.

For Trump to call Hillary crooked is just the most spectacular case of calling the kettle black.

P.S. Note, we didn't even really get to Trump's 'policies.' By no means was this list exhaustive.

Speaking of taxes, he has falsely claimed he would raise taxes for the rich when he wants to explode the deficit to the tune of $12 trillion dollars in taxes that go mostly for the top 1 percent.

Meanwhile he thinks wages are too high and wants to eliminate the federal minimum wage.
