I Wish I Lived in Florida Just So I Could Vote for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz

Bernie Sanders is doing his bit for party unity by supporting the DNC Chairwoman's opponent.

"Bernie Sanders cranked up his crusade against the Democratic establishment Saturday, declaring that he is supporting Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s primary election challenger."

"The move, a clear and intended affront to the Florida congresswoman, comes amid long-standing tensions between the two Democrats. Sanders and his allies contend that Wasserman Schultz has not been an honest broker during his run for the Democratic nomination and they have seethed over a number of issues ranging from the debate schedule to the amount of representation on the convention standing committees."

This all stems from Bernie's fiction that somehow the process has been unfair. His proof of Ms. Wasserman-Schultz's treachery is putrid. Almost as putrid as his claims to have a path to victory.

1. The only real 'proof' offered is the debate schedule. But he is merely presuming motivations. Because we had a few Saturday debates this is assumed to be a ridiculous state of affairs due to the Chairwoman's trying to protect Hillary from the spotlight.

Of course. when the GOP then had its own Saturday night debates, no one said a peep.

What it turned out was it was not W-S who insisted on Saturday night but the networks.

The idea that there is some sort of small d democratic principle behind a debate schedule is a load of bunk anyway. Basically if your leading you're less excited about them, if you're losing then you make an impassioned small d democratic principle call for 'More debates.'

2. The other 'proof' is even more absurd. Basically the Bernie team stole Hillary's voting data and so where temporarily shut off from the DNC database.

Bernie tried to twist things into somehow he was the victim. He started a silly lawsuit which he has only recently given up on.

Again, if I lived in Florida I'd not just vote for her but donate money-I'd donate money to her now if I could figure out how to do so.

I don't know-do you have to donate to the DCCC and it decides how to portion it out?

Not that I agree with W-S on everything. Sure, I don't necessarily agree with her on the credit card companies. But we're Democrats, not Tea Partiers. We believe in a big tent.

As President Obama-who has also endorsed Ms. Wasserman-Schultz-always says: we can agree on 90 to 95 percent of things and still all be Democrats.

It's the Berners who believe otherwise.

But one thing she does is raise money for the Democratic party. Bernie not only doesn't but he repudiates those who do as being impure like pure useless Bernie.
