This is part of his winning strategy-he thinks he can win Michigan. He is doing a press conference this morning where he very quickly mentioned the Flint water crisis but then pivoted quickly to his anti trade pitch.
Again, this isn't Presidential, to switch from an immediate crisis where people need help to a more general point about another issue even if this other issue has relevance.
He's not going to get the Flint vote as even Michael Moore admits and again, it's' what makes him seem like a stump speech guy but not a guy you can imagine as President of the United States.
It was funny when Flint Karen Weaver talked about how much she loves Hillary-how she was able to get federal help for Flint-and the reporter brought up Bernie calling for Rick Snyder to step down.
Her answer was 'Yeah, but a lot of people did that.'
Of course, Bernie only said that after HRC had already brought it up without it being asked at a debate.

So in a new poll out today HRC leads by 28 with just 4 days until Michigan votes.

The poll was conducted on March 1. So this was before Hillary's big Super Tuesday wins.
He can say he's going to win Michigan but this is not close to what current polls are showing. On Tuesday there is also a Mississippi primary where her lead is simply huge.

P.S. Yesterday a Bernie supporter complained to Jonathan Capehart on Twitter for mentioning Super Delegates. He complained that this is just done to discourage Bernie supporters.
Of course. As usual what discourages Bernie supporters is any discussion of reality. When you look at SDs, she already has about 40 percent-1052- of her needed 2382 delegates.

Yes the SDs in theory can change their vote but surely Super Tuesday didn't give them a reason to.
In any case, the ham-handed attempts of Bernie supporters to get SDs to switch has been backfiring.
