You have to admit that there are more than a few ironies here. I mean in this Presidential primary, money has never been less a predictor for success.
Jeb Bush spent the most Super Pac money and his campaign fired nothing but blanks. Trump is the billionaire-though his exact wealth remains contested-and he has spent very little.
Bernie has consistently outspent Hillary for meager results.
He seems to believe in the power of money more than anyone and yet has seen it fail him.
It will be interesting to see what takeaways we end up with from this primary and how future candidates might learn from Trump and Bernie.
Bernie showed it's possible to raise a lot of money through small donations, but Trump shows that it's possible to do it with almost no money.
Jeb showed that Super Pacs just may be more a paper tiger than anything.
