At George Clooney Fundraiser, Berners Literally Bern Money

It's got to be a pretty strange protest. They show up and throw a thousand dollars at the Hillary campaign, though most of it actually was thrown at a car with Secret Service agents.

Literally throwing money around.

"The money was real. And was withdrawn from a bank today by Howard Gold, the Sanders counter fundraiser host."

So money from a Bernie fundraiser is being thrown at a Hillary fundraiser. Makes sense.

Meanwhile, what this really highlights is the absurdity of Bernie Sanders.

1. He refused to raise a dime for the Democratic party to win back the Senate needed so the next Democratic President can appoint judges on the Supreme Court-and other federal judges.

2. Now he compounds this by demonizing Hillary for doing exactly that.

Sure he's going to get a lot of Democratic super delegates to switch to him. These Dem SDs are the very same 'Establishment' he''s always condemning.

George Clooney:

"What Clooney pointed to is that Clinton has been bringing in millions of dollars, not just for her campaign, but also for Democrats running in House, Senate and other local races."

"It's going to the congressmen and senators to try to take back Congress," Clooney said on NBC's Meet The Press on Sunday. "And the reason that's important, and the reason it's important to me, is because we need — I'm a Democrat. So if you're a Republican, you're going to disagree, but we need to take the Senate back."

"He argued that would lead to a Supreme Court justice who could overturn the 2010 Citizens United decision that gave rise to superPACs, which Clooney said would help eliminate the need for such fundraisers that he agreed were odious."

Remember, that Citizens United-the actual conservative law firm-has spent many million dollars to attack Hillary Clinton.

I certainly didn't agree with the CI ruling. But what's not clear is why if someone is willing to spend $33,000 dollars for dinner in a cause to help Democrats this isn't a good thing.
