His new slogan gave us in the Twitter world lots of laughs-after all, the only thing we know for sure he can fix are elections.
"Jeb Bush is embarking on his new “Jeb Can Fix It” tour in an attempt at rebooting his struggling Presidential campaign. But if today’s first stop on the agenda in his home state of Florida is any indication, Jeb is making sure the questions as fixed as well. He refused to take live questions from town hall attendees, negating the entire point of the event."

He's been getting advice from his big brother and this was a favorite trick of W as well-pre-screened or even planted questions. So the fix is again in.
"The Jacksonville campaign event saw a Jeb Bush staffer wearing a “Jeb!” sticker reading questions from a card, while the audience members sat there and were not allowed to participate in the event themselves, according to tweets from WaPo political writer Philip Rucker, who was in attendance. It’s not immediately clear whether the questions were planted or merely pre-screened. But in either case the intent was clear: to make sure attendees couldn’t ask Bush any unapproved questions."
"This development doesn’t come as a total surprise. Jeb Bush has spent much of his campaign answering questions about the failed Presidency of his brother George W. Bush, as well as questions about why he’s losing to bombastic frontrunner Donald Trump. This format assures he can talk about whatever he wants and avoid any tough questions, while also pretending he’s interacting with an audience. If this is what “Jeb Can Fix It” is all about, it feels more like playing defense than a good offense."
Jeb can fix elections, and he can fix questions but his lack of popularity with the American people, he will never be able to fix.
"In the latest poll, conducted after last week's third GOP debate in which Bush delivered a mediocre performance, just 4 percent of Republican and independent Republican-leaning voters said they would support Bush in their state's primary. In the September survey, Bush earned 10 percent, trailing Trump, Carson and Carly Fiorina. And in terms of favorability, no one polled lower than Bush, at a net-negative of 33 points. Just 25 percent of all registered voters surveyed said they had a positive opinion of him, while 58 percent said they had a negative one."

"Jeb got confused. He thought he was still in an era when people had to pay their dues."

But his fix it tour didn't start off well in Florida yesterday as he refused to answer any questions at a Florida Town Hall. No wonder he is losing by over 20 points to Trump in his own state.

I have to give the Devil her due-Maureen Dowd gets Jeb well here.
"Jeb is trapped in a nightmarish déjà vu. Once he was cast as the wonky one while his brother, the sparky one, slipped ahead. Now Jeb is cast as the wonky one while Marco, the sparky one, slips ahead."
"Jeb got confused. He thought he was still in an era when people had to pay their dues."
