How Sweet it is: Chris Christie to be Dumped From Next Debate?

Please don't toy with me. Tell me it is so. This is literally all I want for Christmas.

"It's looking like Chris Christie may not make the primetime debate stage at next week's Fox Business Network/Wall Street Journal debate."

"While Fox Business will not officially announce the lineup until Thursday, a new Fox News poll released late Wednesday puts him at 2 percent. That likely means Christie will get bumped to the undercard stage — a big blow for the New Jersey governor, especially because it comes as he appeared to be gaining some traction in the presidential race."

Could not happen to a nicer guy. You know that saying nice guys finish last? Well Christie's not such a nice guy and he's very close to last.

So being a jerk is not sufficient in itself either. I say this because here's a man as Governor of the state of New Jersey who had his staff follow him around with a camera just in case he meets another female teacher to insult up and down for having the nerve to ask him a question he didn't like.

Then we have Bridgegate which hasn't gone away.

The NY Times tells Christie to go home.

The people of New Jersey never thought he should have run in the first place and when asked has said that if he ran he should resign.

So like Rubio, he's ignoring the will of his own constituents. And yet seeing this he expects Americans to trust him? His corruption scandals make you suspect that this is the guy who could meet or surpass Nixon.

Thankfully, the voters don't seem to like him much either.

While Christie looks like he may be relegated to the Kid's Table debate, as a bonus, Bobby Jindal and Pataki may not even be invited back to the Kid's Table.

"The latest Fox poll is also potentially bad news for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former New York Gov. George Pataki, who look like they might be left out of the event all together."

I guess you could argue as a Trump Democrat I shouldn't want to see Christie fall as in theory his 2% of the vote could accrue to Rubio. But his support isn't much and I just really don't like that guy.

C'mon, Santa Claus! I'll be good. I'm a liberal but I'll go on Fox and promise not to war on Christmas anymore!
