What Has the Benghazi Committee Looked at Other Than Emailgate Since March, 2015?

I admit it's kind of a trick question. The answer is nothing. Despite Gowdy's attempts at damage control.

Trey Gowdy: “The email is a very small part of what we’re doing.” “‘Before the email story happened, nobody really paid a lot of attention to our committee,’ Gowdy said. ‘It wasn’t in the news. I get why people are interested in that. But the email is a very small part of what we’re doing. In fact, if it doesn’t relate to Libya or Benghazi emails, it’s no part of our committee.’”

Here's another trick question: What have we learnt about Benghazi in the Benghazi hearings that we didn't learn from previous Congressional eight hearings and one independent hearing besides?

You got it-not a thing.

The GOP recently had an internal debate as to whether to campaign off this totally unpolitical investigation in the public interest.

"House Republicans now battling over whether or not it's okay to fundraise off Benghazi. Benghazi committee chair Gowdy asks Republicans not to fundraise off Benghazi. House GOP campaign committee already has. Boehner won't ask them to stop."

"Late Update: And ... House GOP leader booed for defending (crooked) Benghazi committee at Washington Ideas Forum. "I do believe that the work that we're doing in the Benghazi committee is very important," said Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) amid a rising chorus of boos and hisses. "We've not yet had important questions answered."

And ... House GOP campaign committee takes down Benghazi fundraising web page."

If it's not political then what has been the public benefit of it as we've learned nothing new on Benghazi whatsoever?

Interesting that the only benefits of a nonpolitical investigation are political.

Why not just get it over and call it the Emailgate Commitee? I'm sure knowing that Cheryl Mills is the only person that says no to Hillary is in the public interest.
