It'd be impossible not to worry. A new poll has him at 4%-less than the margin for error. And this is before he channleed Donald Rumsfeld and in repsonse to the Oregon mass shooting just said Stuff happens.

For some reason, some, including some liberal pundits claim that liberals are being unfair to his stuff happens muse.
I don't get why. I mean whatever he meant how do you think you feel if you lost your child the other day in hearing the Governor refer to it as stuff?
The historical antecedent is also just brutal-Rumsfeld's fateful shrug about Iraq looting after Mission Accomplished used those very same words.
The trouble is that this keeps happening. I had defending Jeb msyelf believe it or not after his comment that Americans need to work more-I thought it could be charitably read as a point about undermployment.
But that was before so much other stuff has happened. If everything he says is taken out of context then maybe he should provide better context for what he says.
How many times has he said stuff that makes people say that was his 47% moment only to top it later?

This list by Politico is good but doesn't even mention He kept us safe-regarding his bro at the last GOP debate.
Then there was what he said to the question from an African-American woman in 1994 for what he could do for blacks: Probably nothing.
It's gotten so bad between his cratering poll numbers and the growing lists of gaffes that his donors are starting to worry:
"Even as Jeb Bush remains mired in single digits in the polls and republican voters continue to suggest they want anyone but him to be their 2016 nominee, the presumption has been that his army of billionaire donors would keep him afloat long enough to be the last man standing once the various stunt-candidacies have run their course. But he’s now doing so poorly that some of his donors are left to wonder if it’s time to pull the plug."
"One of Bush’s donors, who didn’t want his name attached for the quote for obvious reasons, explained his reticence in terms that made it sound like he’s expecting to get a financial return on Jeb’s Presidency: “It’s as if we keep investing in a company and, as a shareholder, we’re not seeing any sales.” The scary part for Bush: the cratering poll numbers and fence-sitting donors happenedbefore he made the biggest gaffe of the election cycle yesterday when he responded to a school shooting by saying “Stuff happens.” Jeb wouldn’t be the first republican candidate to be forced out of the 2016 race by his own donors."
"Last month Scott Walker was effectively forced out of the race by the billionaire Koch Brothers, who presumably got tired of his low poll numbers and decided to consolidate their support elsewhere. Walker was at literally zero percent at the time he dropped out; Jeb Bush is currently as low as four percent. At this point the only thing that might save the Jeb Bush campaign is that with most of the remainder of the republican field being stunt candidates and radicals, they may not have anyone else to shift their funding to. Go here for more on the story."

At this point the only acceptable establishment candidates are him and Rubio. We'll see how long he can stay so low in the polls and not lose the donors.
