I Kick the Hornet's Nest of Bernie Maniacs

I criticized him on Twitter last night and then got about two hours of blowback from them. Maybe they did this to make me pullback or yield-but like they used to say in Warner Bros. cartoons 'Eeeee, they don't know me too well do they?'

Sanders fans annoy me for a number of reasons. Like this one determined female Bernie maniac kept pushing back with me all night.

1. She just kept insisting that Bernie is 'The true progressive.' Exactly, and this isn't the criteria by which I vote. In the minds of Bernie fans politics is simply a purity oath where every single issue can be dealbraker.

You can agree with Hillary Clinton on 15 things but if there are two or three things that you don't or that Bernie sounds better to you on then you have to go for him. That's ridiculous.

2. I pointed out to her that he's not a Democrat and I have no intention for voting for a Democrat regardless of how many wonderful positions he allegedly takes she said this shows that she votes issues and I vote party.

3. Not entirely true. I vote issues and party. In the mind of her and other Bernie maniacs voting for a candidate is like falling in love. There can't be any pragmatic factors involved in it. Everything is right and wrong, black and white, true and false progressive.

4. But in my mind you also have to think about electability and viability. Bernie will get no major Democratic party insider endorsements. You need these to win a party nomination.

5. Even if he could win the nomination and win the Presidency-none of which has a snowballs chance in hell of happening-he'd be totally boxed in as there is a Congress that wouldn't work with him-not even the Dems would as he's not a Democrat.

6. In politics it takes a party. Bernie should have worked on developing the Socialist party. That he hasn't been able to get anyone to join him in becoming a Socialist shows he doesn't have much political support.

7. But I actually prefer Hillary on the issues anyway. To me fulminating against the banks is not an agenda. I tried to get them to say what makes Bernie's actual policies superior to Hillary's and they can't really say.

When Bernie says he's going after 'The Billionaire Class'-that pleases the populists but what's it mean? I'm still looking for the actual meat on the bone: what are the actual policies that will break up this alleged class?

8. They had no answer for the fact that Bernie is actually less progressive than Hillary on immigration and gun control.

9. They just don't deal in facts. They claim that Bernie is winning when he clearly isn't. He leads in NH and that's it.

As usual you can't have a logical discussion with Emoprogs as they reach their positions out of pure emotion and sentiment.

10. Finally I'm not a Socialist-which is what he calls himself. I don't want to nationzlize the economy. The Bernie Maniacs retort he's a democratic socialist-like who, you mean Hugo Chavez? Hitler also was elected.

I need to know if Bernie has any plans to nationalize the economy.
