Trent Gowdy's Committee to Destroy Hillary Clinton's Campaign

Wow-I had a big Twitter argument will all these Bernie Maniacs tonight. Like all Emoprogs, you just can't have a logical discussion with them. Facts don't matter just Bernie's alleged purity.

My last post seems a long time ago but in that post I had taken issue with MSNBC and the perception that it may be moving to the Right. Particularly I took issue with Andrea Mitchell's badgering Hillary Clinton in her interview over and over again about Emailgate.

However, I have to give props to one MSNBC host-Chris Hayes-who made a great point last night. The Benghazi investigation in the House has gone on now 500 days-longer than Pearl Harbor or other much more major events.

At this point it should be clear on what it is: sort of like the Ken Starr investigations 2.0. It's expressed aim is to hurt the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, full stop.

Here is Maryland Congressman, Elijah Cummings-who is the ranking Democrat on the Committee:

"Congressional investigations into the attacks in Benghazi have been plagued by a series of inaccurate, partisan leaks designed to attack former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Many of these attacks rely on anonymous sources to describe -- and often mischaracterize -- documents reporters have not seen."

"Reporters have an obligation to ask why these sources demand to remain anonymous while refusing to provide copies of the documents they are peddling. No scoop should be too good to verify."

"But the core problem is that these anonymous sources have an agenda, which is to manufacture facts to attack Secretary Clinton."

There are a lot of issues with the latest witch hunt-like all witch hunts the charges are difficult to disprove, In the original Witch Trials a woman could avoid been found a witch only by drowning tied up in a bag with a millstone tied around her ankles. 

One issue as Hillary's successor says it there is rampant over-classification at State. 

"Part of the issue is that the government simply classifies too much information, as Kerry admitted Thursday. He said it happens largely because officials are so worried about getting in trouble for not classifying enough."

"I mean, there's a massive amount of overclassification," he said. "People just stamp it on quickly because it's a way to sort of be correct if anybody had a judgment that somehow they had been wrong about whether it should be classified or not. So the easy thing is classify it and put it away."

"I have initiated a review within this department, and I wrote personally to the inspector general and I invited the inspector general to review the process so that we have as much accountability and insight on our own system as we can have," Kerry added. "You know, this whole phenomenon of email, obviously, is something that's developed in the last years, and the system needs to catch up: How do you manage it properly? How do you handle so much volume?"
