At first glance it might seem a respectful, sensitive thing to do to call for a moment of silence for the victims of the Orlando attack on Sunday-the worst mass shooting in American history.
Yet the more you think about it, it's not so sensitive after all. For starters, the GOP won't even acknowledge that this was a hate crime directed at gay people.
