So I saw Trump's speech. He called Hillary Clinton a world class liar. Kind of ironic with his track record.
Trump: "Hillary Clinton ... is a world class liar." Per PolitiFact, 59% of Trump's claims have been False/Pants on Fire vs. 12% for Clinton."

His speech turned out to be as truth challenged as always. Turns out even using a teleprompter didn't make it more accurate.
"Donald actually managed to deliver an address with zero references to bodily functions or body parts. But it was eminently laughable nonetheless."
"The speech, which was “crafted by senior policy adviser Stephen Miller and Trump’s newspaper publisher son-in-law Jared Kushner,” was framed by Donald’s campaign as “the first real test of Trump 2.0.”

Is Stephen Miller any relation to John Miller?
Trump has chutzpah:
"Hillary, says Donald, “has spent her entire life making money for special interests, and, I will tell you, she’s made plenty of money for them and she’s been taking plenty of money out for herself. Hillary Clinton has perfected the politics of personal profit and even theft.”
"Oh no. Oh no no no no no. Donald did not, in the same week it was widely reported that he’s directing nearly 20% of his campaign cash to his own businesses and family members, is not accusing Hillary of having “perfected the politics of personal profit.” This man has used his presidential campaign as his own personal slush fund to the tune of $1.1 million in the month of May alone."
Trump has also vowed to use the Presidency to make the Trump U case go away and sue news organizations who criticize him. He also vowed to send Hillary to jail in today's speech.
Trump also told the same whooper about using nothing but a 'small loan' to get rich. True, except it wasn't small and it wasn't a loan

As for Trump saying that Hillary gets rich by making Americans poor, that's' in itself larceny

She's been using that line about him, and in her case, it just happens to be true.

I think people with Trump's personality condition (call it sociopathy or narcissistic personality disorder or whatever it is) take special joy in slandering others with their own glaring flaws. The fact that he can get a crowd to cheer on his fraudulent campaign probably just heightens the emotional rush. Like a fire chief who starts fires and then holds press conferences about the investigation. Or a homicide detective who's also a serial killer.
ReplyDeleteThe crowd was his family and friends, but point taken
ReplyDeleteMike, did you see this? Candidate's sign pleading to "Make America White Again!"

... that guy sounds like he might be running mate material for Trump.
