Trump's Adviser Jokes About Water Boarding Hillary Clinton

Now that didn't take long, did it? A big part of what Hillary did yesterday was to expertly troll Donald Trump to goad him into saying something monumentally and absurdly offensive and ignorant.

Apparently his adviser could think of no way to strike back at her without joking about committing a war crime.

Then again, even Rick Perry responded to her strong performance yesterday by warning that Trump will 'peal her face off' in a debate.

It seems that no one can defend Trump without talking about committing a war crime

"Even waterboarding Hillary Clinton would not get her to tell the truth about anything, a senior adviser to Donald Trump's campaign said Friday."

"During an interview with CNN's Kate Bolduan, Barry Bennett discussed Trump's implied threat to prosecute Clinton over her use of a private email server at the State Department, should he be elected president."

And some worry about Trump abusing executive power. Here he is already promising to use it to punish a political enemy. No wonder he and Chris Christie are such friends.

"It's a real problem, that's for sure," Bennett said when asked if that was a threat from Trump at a rally Thursday night. "I mean, if this attorney general tries to block it, then, you know, special counsel should be appointed. I mean, it's crazy. I mean, she has continued to lie about it, right? She told us the lawyers signed off on it, the inspector general said that's not true. She said she would cooperate with all of the investigations, she stonewalled the [State Department Office of the Inspector General] and now everybody taking the Fifth."

As Bolduan tried to ask another question, Bennett remarked, "You couldn't get the truth from Hillary Clinton if you waterboarded her."

"What?" Bolduan asked.

Bennett replied, "You couldn't get the truth out of her with a waterboard.”

Trump himself has said he would "bring back waterboarding and a hell of a lot worse" if elected president as a means to acquire intelligence from terror suspects.

Why would anybody suggest this guy is some sort of existential threat to our nation inside the Oval Office?

Let's hope Michelle Obama is right and this is not who we are.

A new Politico piece asks about a President Donald Trump and the world: what could actually go wrong?

What actually couldn't? That's a much shorter list.

    1. I wonder if the ABA has endorsed Trump for the increased business prospects it brings them alone?

  2. I do like that Erickson is going after Trump's Dad. Hillary and her surrogates should do that
