Orlando Reminds Us of Why We Need Hillary Clinton

Her response and that of Trump could not have been more stark.

He made it about himself, gloating absurdly that it validates his bigotry. He also did the classic rush to judgement that you can't have in a Commander in Chief.

When the bodies are barely cold and law enforcement is doing it's job, you can't have the President of the United States fanning the flames with an irresponsible rush to judgement.

Conservatives always seem to use these kinds of tragedies to gloat and to attack liberals. They seek not to bring the country together but tear it apart, to use wedge issues to fearmonger.

They're trying to claim that this attack shows that all Muslims are bigots while these same conservatives are afraid to even acknowledge this was a hate crime.

What we do need is the inclusive spirit that Hillary represents. No one can accuse her of not being tough enough, but she is of the measured response. She doesn't demonize anyone or encourage divisions.

She does the opposite, she urges us to come together.

I want conservatives to take note of that last one. An act of terror and an act of hate. You don't have to choose. We can actually walk and chew gum at the same time.

With all the talk about why Dems can't say 'radical Islamic terrorism' the question begs why the GOP can't say 'an act hate' as well as an act of terror.

"I join Americans in praying for the victims of the attack in Orlando."

See this is what a President sounds like.
