Now Jan Brewer of Arizona-yes "papers please" Alabama-Brewer personally signed this too-has just vetoed the latest wild law the NRA was trying to get pushed where people would have been allowed to carry concealed weapons into public buildings.
This is not the first time Brewer has checked her own party's extremism as she has vetoed birther bills, etc. She herself is quite out there so it's something when she is the vote of reason. She remember was the one to be pictured wagging her finger in the President's face when he visited the state.
But she got this one right. So we have another man bites dog moment where in a crazy GOP dominated state, high ranking figures of the GOP themselves have to be the voice of reason. It's hard to imagine Brewer the voice of reason but that's what she was hear and has been at times.
