Knciks Upend Celtics 118-110

I know one thing. I'm becoming a believer in Woodsanity. Though I do miss Linsanity-Lin may well not be back this year, it seems that he might be back in the 2nd round but it's a major if that the Knicks get there without him and Stoudemire. Stoudemire might be back this week. If he does at least they would have the team that opened this year-Lin was a windfall anyway.

Not that it has seemed to matter that much. The team is now 14-5 under Woodson and what stands out more than anything is that this is a team that can win with anyone on the court-or off. That the loss of no individual, no matter how talented can slow this team down.

There's a real team ethic here who someone different can step up every night. Melo has stepped up. When the Knicks had Lin and Stoudemire and started winning under Woodson, he accepted not always being the guy with most points every night. Now that it's needed has has been the guy with the most points most nights anyway.

Yet while Anthony has played great and most night has led the team in scoring there have always been others to step up. This team since Woodson has started has consistently had 4 or 5 scorers in double figures every night.

Last night Melo had a triple double with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. JR Smith and Steve Novak-Mr. Three Pointer-scored 25 points a piece off the bench. Novak was 8 for 10 from three point land, Smith had 7 three pointers all in the first half. In all, the team was 19 0f 32 from the line, tying a team record. Chandler was 9 of 10 for 20 points.
