Wow, talk about digging a deeper hole?!
"Conservative author Ann Coulter claimed on Tuesday that South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) has a poor grasp on American history as "an immigrant," even though Haley was born in the U.S.

"Coulter then took a shot at South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R), who on Monday called for the removal of the Confederate flag from the state capitol grounds."
"I’m appalled by –– though, I really like to like Nikki Haley since she is a Republican. On the other hand, she is an immigrant and does not understand America’s history," Coulter said.
"You think immigrants can’t understand the history?" Kennedy asked.
"Well, she doesn’t!" Coulter replied.
"Haley was born in Bamberg, S.C., but her parents are Indian immigrants, according to thegovernor's biography."

So not only is she miserable on racism but she attacks immigrants and suggests that because Nicky Haley is of Indian descent she's not a real American herself. Maybe Coulter believes Haley ought to be deported.
As for this history lesson, she is making the point of liberals. Ok, so it was a Democratic Governor who put it up in 1962-so why does Coulter as a Republican believe it should stay up then? Why is she hating on Haley for saying SC should take it down?
And the fact that the flag goes back to 1962 rather than 1862 makes it clear this is not an authentic history we're talking about here. Putting it up 50 than 150 years shows that this was really a protest against civil rights rather than a genuine peace of Southern history.
